About the Role

We are now have an opportunity within our Seaview branch for a confident, experienced and technically minded internal sales person to showcase their customer service skills and previous warehouse experience.

Reporting to the Regional Manager - Southern Region, your main responsibility is to process customer orders and enquires; and to support the external sales person by processing documentation related to simple quotations, price requests, urgent order deliveries or pick-ups, and literature requests.  Additionally, you will be required to maintain local branch inventory.

This is a varied and autonomous role; and a typical day will involve:

  • Processing sales orders and arranging the dispatch and administration of products and services sold.
  • Ensuring commitments to customers are met.
  • Providing administrative support for the production of sales related documents.
  • Receiving and dispatching goods
  • Stocktake and pick packing items.
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Projecting a good image to customers and general public.
  • General Warehouse housekeeping.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience within a similar position (at least 1 year)
  • Highly developed customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and work autonomously
  • Good technical aptitude from Mechanical or Electrical background
  • The right to work in New Zealand
